IMMERSIVE LIGHT AND SOUND EXPERIENCE

LUMAGICA ST ALBANS is located AT WILLOWS Activity Farm, ST ALBANS, HERTFORDSHIRE

LUMAGICA St Albans is now closed. Thank you to everyone that visited us this season – we look forward to seeing you again when we open later in 2023.

LUMAGICA St Albans is a unique and exciting light and sound experience, packed with fabulous installations that will appeal to all ages. In increasingly difficult times, being able to step outside of reality for an evening and immerse yourself a fantastical landscape full of fun and wonder with friends and family is a not-to-be-missed opportunity.

Setting it apart, LUMAGICA St Albans features oversized light sculptures of mythical and wild animals, as well as several interactive installations that allow guests to play with the lighting effects and even create a musical composition.

To complete the experience visitors can enjoy delicious hot food and drink.

Depart Reality and enjoy the fantasy!

LUMAGICA St Albans is built around an easy, paved 1.2 kilometre circular route that takes visitors through different themed areas and installations.

The trail is designed so that each element is hidden from the next, creating a journey of discovery. Each individual light piece has its own music, which will tantalise your ears before you see it! The original musical score has been created by the very talented musician Thomas Murphy Young.

Having passed beneath the stunning entrance arch, guests will immediately meet the mythical Winter Unicorn for a photo, moving on to pass through a shimmering field of enchanted mushrooms. Discover the interactive oversized Giraffes, the spectacular animated Hummingbird, and the sparkling Crystal Tree, each providing further opportunities to pose for a memory making photo.

The colour responsive ‘field of dreams’ is where you can create a musical composition, and the wow moments continue with a series of uniquely themed light and sound tunnels that envelop guests in entrancing lighting and sound effects.

Toward the trail’s end you’ll experience a unique light and water projection show before heading to enjoy a delicious bite to eat.

Then, filled with tasty food and all the wonders from the experience, it’s time to head home with all your photos and memories that will make everyday life just that little more fantastical!

“LUMAGICA St Albans is promising to be a truly unique event that pushes the boundaries of what you might expect from a light trail, with plenty of opportunities to play with light and create your own personal experience. Willows has been a great partner for this, with their strong vision from the outset to give visitors the opportunity to leave their worries behind and step through the looking glass into a new and fabulous reality for an evening. We can’t wait for people to experience the light and sound spectacular we have created together.” says Gilbert Menassa, managing Director of LUMAGICA UK.
